About

Hello world this is Sreelu, food blogging and food photography are hobbies turned into passion. Grew up is the beautiful coastal city of Vizag and currently reside in the sunny high tech valley of California with my husband and two boys, life always seems to be in full throttle, Work in silicon valley during day time and dreams of living country side by night, loves blues skies, hopeless optimist, belongs to club CAA (caffeine addicts anonymous), ideal day would be defined as cozying up with a good book not to mention gallons of coffee.
I blog predominantly Indian vegetarian recipes with healthy alternatives without compromising on traditional taste. My style of cooking I would classify as fusion best of both worlds Indian & American.
All the recipes posted are tried and tested by my family, friends and me of course.

Thanks for stopping by I value your time and would love to hear your comments, compliments or just a hello .

Hi Sreelu! Lucky me for finding your blog when looking for a recipe for Aloo Palak that I just had from Trader Joes. Why should I pay so much when I might make it myself!? How do you find time with 2 boys and working so much? Your site is BEAUTIFUL. I thought it might be helpful for Caucasian types like myself to have you make a glossary of eastern/western defining terms like channa, jeera, haldi...I have discovered what they are, but if the resource was on your site already, it would be easy to make the recipes. Thank you so much! I look forward to cooking with you! mags
